Dylan Edwards scored his first career Ontario Hockey League (OHL) hat trick against the Flint Firebirds to bring his goals up to 15. However, despite Edward's impressive scoring, the Firebirds defeated Erie 6-5 in front of a 4,000 person crowd at the Erie Insurance Arena on January 14, 2024.
